No, we are no longer offering prepaid plans for new activations. You can explore our other affordable monthly plan options here. Existing prepaid Members: You don't need to worry, as there won't be any changes to your prepaid services. You can continue to top up, check your balance, make changes to your plan, and access your Member Benefits as usual.

Who can use a Virgin Plus prepaid top-up card?
Virgin Plus Prepaid top-up cards are sold for customers that activated prior to September 30, 2024 and want to prepay for their service.
How to get my Dollarama Gift Card:

I bought a SIM Card at Dollarama, how do I get my gift card?
To be eligible for a Dollarama gift card:
1. Activate your Virgin Plus SIM card on a Bring Your Own Phone postpaid plan (see steps above)
2. Remain active for 2 months (60+ days)
Once you have completed these actions, the gift card will be sent to you as a barcode link via text a few days after your second top up. Head in to any participating Dollarama store and present your gift card barcode to the cashier at checkout to redeem.

I have added money to my prepaid account to cover 2 or more months of my plan. When will I get my Dollarama gift card?
You will receive a text message with a gift card barcode 30 days after activation on an active prepaid account.

I lost the text message that has my Dollarama gift card barcode link on it. How do I get a new one?
If you have received the text message with the URL to your gift card, but have misplaced or deleted the text message, contact our support team at 1-866-904-9245 for assistance.
Using my Dollarama Gift Card:

I received the text message with my Dollarama Gift Card barcode. How do I redeem it?
Click the unique vmobilecan.ca link in the text you received and show your barcode to the cashier at checkout at any participating Dollarama location.

How do I check the balance on my Dollarama gift card?
Call Dollarama's support line at 1-888-755-1006 ext. 1000 to find out the balance of your gift card.

I received my Dollarama gift card and I still have a balance. How long will I have access to the barcode?
Once you receive your gift card and start using it, there is no expiry date. We suggest taking a screenshot of the barcode/gift card number and storing it in a safe place in case the original text message is misplaced.
Good to know:
Member must be in an active status to receive a Dollarama gift card. Once a Member has redeemed the Dollarama gift card in a participating Dollarama, all support such as balance and usage will need to be managed between the customer and Dollarama support at 1-888-755-1006 ext. 1000. For Members with activated Prepaid SIM cards, you must remain activated on a Prepaid plan and complete the first two top-ups.
For Postpaid, a Member must activate their SIM card on a Bring Your Own Phone postpaid plan and remain active for their first 60 days to be eligible.
Gift card is for new activations only. Does not apply to damaged or replaced cards.
